Sure can!

....

Depending upon the jurisdiction you can be arrested on the spot.
-
like... casually do it, or flat out give him the finger? I think you could get away with like... pushing up your glasses with it, but if you flip him off he might get you for public indecency, or something obscure like that.
-
Yes, I'm not sure if the gesture is strictly illegal but the cop will find something to charge or threaten you with.
-
i've got my money on arrest.
-
I'd expect you'd be arrested for lewd gestures in public.
-
It's called the freedom of speech. However, that doesn't mean he can't find something to do to you on some other violation.
-
Hm... It would be a stretch. Several friends of mine were "brought in" for swearing a cop up one side and down the other when he crashed their (legal and permitted) block party. He couldn't get them through booking - had nothing to charge them with.
-
Well, translated, it means "f*ck you" in sign language. Flipping off anybody is technically disorderly conduct, which in my state, you can be arrested for and charged with a misdemeanor or the arresting officer can opt to simply issue you a citation for a disorderly conduct ordinance violation.
-
Piss them off and they'll find something to bring you in on. Perhaps a "broken tail light?"
-
Laws vary world wide ... In some places, that constitutes treason and results in an execution, while in most places, it is just a rude "freedom of expression" ...
-
The charge probably varies depending on the jurisdiction, but I'd imagine they'd "find" something to charge you with if they wanted to.
-
They can kill your dog, ram your car, and ARREST YOU FOR "DISORDERLY CONDUCT", for any whim they have and there's nothing you can do about it, except if you struggle while being electrocuted and beaten , they'll shoot you, plant a gun on you, and then go masturbate in the cruiser, then get a donut.
-
he might get mad and arrest you
