Should developing nations have the right to the same standard of living that Americans have, no matter what the environmental costs?

    Standard of living is relative to the location even within the United States. There is also a stratification of living standards in all area, which some qualify as class. Most Americans mistakenly think they are in the middle class.

    So my premise is there is no standard of living.

    I would agree all people should have the right to the same basic services, with standards set and maintained under the government.
