  • A midget is in proportion, just a small person. A dwarf has a bone disease and is not quite in proportion. Or the other way around. There is something with genetics too. I think dwarfs carry the gene while midgets are born into 'normal' families, and can carry 'normal' children. I'm no expert so I could also be wrong. Just a guess. But I know that for sure they are not the same.
  • A midget is a perfectly formed and proportioned miniature adult and usually live to be quite old 80's is a common age for midgets. Dwarf's usually have deformed features and spinal columns and other health issues and generally have much shorter lifespans, Dwarf's seldom live past their 30's
