My xbox turns on, green light, but does not load. pressing power button several times until it booted up used to work. then i started placing it over A/C vent for 15 minuets. now i have to place it in refrigerator for 30min to get it to boot. whats wrong?

  I have a xbox and its been acting funny. i try to turn it on and nothing happens. i hear thefan kick on for a second or so. im confused and i know its not the power cord because i can get it to start ever like maybe 10-20% i try. help please
