A place with a lot of stuff to do!! More like where you can get out and do things!! Not like a big city though!!

How about Solmolia. You've got rape and starvation as weapons of war, genocide, piracy all set against a beautifly oceanfront. Exciting enough for you?
Otherwise considedr Bolder, Colorado, Boise, Idaho or New Orleans.

Boise is really cool. Think of a small city (city 200,000/metro 600,000) that's the biggest city between Salt Lake City and Seattle. Located in a valleny in rolling hills so the weather isn't as extreme as it would be at that northern latitude.Easy drive to the mountains. River running through town so clean that people take off work early on summer Fridays to tube down it (you need two tube-one for the beer!) The intillectual stimulation of being a state capital, having a major university (Boise State) and a florishing high-tech industry (Gateway computers). Fairly good air connections through Denver-hell I've just about talked myself into moving!

As I said. It's pretty cool. Not sure it's really pleasant and interesting. I spent a couple of months on several occasions and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
