There are many good places in Korea that you want to go anywhere. If you want a sight-seeing tour you can visit kyungbokgoong, changdukgoong, and so on. If you want to study history tour you can visit gyeongju or buyeo. If you want a trip of recreation you can visit jeju island, namhae, mt.seorak. Like this there are many great place in seoul. Unfortunately Korean government didn't think tour is important. So the public device of tour will be poor. However if you have plan to travel korea, you will have a great time in Korea. South Korea has many beautiful places to visit.
If you want to know about the history of south korea you should visit somewhere like kyungbokgoong, and changdukgoong etc. I personally think that korea has no big place to visit like the great wall in china or Niagara falls in america. So, you should find somewhere like everland, lotteworld or vivaldi park where you can ride stuff and have fun with your family. It's not that great like sixflags or disneyworld in america but you can at least have fun with your family.

If I were in South Korea, the places I'd visit would be Japan, China, Vietnam, or another Asian country like that.
