I've even been inside of one =P
There is a company here in Houston that sells them.
http://www.delorean.com/
Yup, there's one that shows up at local classic car show every summer. There's only one rule... all cars have to be driven in or they can't be entered into the show.
when i was growing up a guy down the street from me had one. i though that was one of the best cars when i was younger but have since changed my mind now that i am older
I saw one earlier this summer in my state, down along the coast. Very nice condition, parked in someones driveway. The couple that own it only use it when they come up from away during the summertime. Very nice people, pretty decent car.
Yes,I was behind one going thru the drive thru at Arby's, 2 weeks ago.It was in fair/good condition...
needed a good repaint though
It's funny you should ask. It has been a few months but I was just talking about them last night. John Delorian was ahead of his time!
The stainless steel car was to efficient Detroit was not ready for it!
They would be now!
The only one I have seen was in 1986. It was parked on a road near Orlando, Fla.
No, but that'd be awesome to see.
Yep. There's a guy here that has one. I see it on the highway every once in a while. Looks to be in fairly mint condition.
yes a few times over here
I've seen a few of them actually.
yes. in louisiana and i got to sit in it for a sec lol
No :(
Sadly, no. I've seen ones from the Back to the Future movies though!
No.
Only in the movies or at an auto dealership.
Yes...there is a guy a couple of towns over that has one and drives it occasionally.
Yes on Main Street during a car show.
Only once.
yes once I actually did...had a for sale sign on it though
Yes once I think
not since the early 90's
There was one in the parking lot of Bancroft Chrysler Plymouth in 1988. It had a Mike Dukakis for President sticker on it.
When I lived near Salt Lake City Utah in 2001 a guy down the street had one he would drive around once in awhile. I also saw two in Michigan one was the the original stainless steel and the other one was painted black.
My girlfriend's dad owned #20 or 22. It was supposed to be her first car but they sold it. :-(
I did not, but it would be cool.
Yes, living in SoCal and having Hollywood nearby, there are a few around. Haven't seen one in a while though.
Yes, but many years ago.
Only once. My friend and I had a nice conversation (extra nice of them since I'm sure they've had it about five billion times) withe the owners. It was very cool to see one in person at least once.
I have not only seen one, there is one for sale in a lot just west of the city I live in.
D-E-L-O-R-E-A-N. =) Very few of them are still out there. John Delorean was an amazing man who was responsible for some amazing cars being built during his years at GM, but who made some REALLY stupid mistakes. One involved Cocaine, the other was the power plant he used to power his cars. COMPLETE garbage! It was a V6 that was a joint effort between Volvo, Peugeot & Renault & They were HORRIBLE little engines that not only damaged the reputation & reliability of the deloreans, but hurt every car company that used them. Including the Volvos that had the misfortune of having them installed at the factory. Still love to have one one day. I check ebay, Onlineauction.com, CL, etc. from time to time. I'm just waiting for the right one to come along! =)
I saw one parked.
Where they go, they don't need roads
Not in a long time.
Never! But I will be very much impressed if I saw one.
There's a guy who drives one around town here. I wanted to be more impressed than I was.
Yes. I've seen a few. It has been years since I've seen them with any regularity, but I pointed one out to my fiance since we've moved to the US...so that time would have been within the last 2 years.
I've seen 2 in the last 15 years.
No but i could have bought 1 at one time, it was at a car lot, the only problem is they painted it, now i am pretty sure it could have been stripped off, and i always have wished i would have bought it.
Nope. I think that are a massive hoax by the US government to make us think that all european car manufacturers use cocaine, which will make us stop buying foreign cars and thereby help them bail out the US car companies. I just know how they new about the need so far in advance.
