What you want to do is keep a closely even spread
an even spread is 7.5 between numbers
so something like
So statistically you should do better with the spread - If the world was actually perfectly random this would work every time.

No obviously you can't do this being that you need to use whole numbers - and the pattern will very a little.
SO use 4,11,18,27,34,41
