Never done it in a waiting room...but I do it at home all the time to make my daughter yawn.

No, but I have stopped on a street corner and looked up at nothing, to see how many curious people would stop and look up. :)

Yes- Totally!... Stands up and gives and Big Stretch and Yawn, then checks watch to see how long it takes! One time a woman in the waiting room stretched too but did'nt realize her shirt had popped a button loose- what a view!

No. But come to think of it. I have yawned every time others in the waiting room yawn. I will try your suggestion next time and see how many follow me in yawning.

Yes I have, and it work's. At a Dr.'s office I yawned, I made sure I was just loud enough to be heard, but not loud enough people would think I was making a funny statement about the boring situation we were in. I made sure as many people were watching as possible by getting up and getting a magazine then dropping it so they would look, gots to be able to work a crowd. About half the people within 15 minutes started to yawn. A few then started talking about the long wait.

Not in a waiting room, but i do love to yawn around other people and wait to see if they yawn. It is quite fun! After answering this question, i feel like yawning!
