you need to set some goals to work towards. if you don't like your job, then make a goal to get a new one within a certain number of months. then set a goal to save up enough money to move to your own place in, say, six months. if all else fails, start completely over. if you've got nothing left where you are, go somewhere else. move away, start over, get a fresh beginning. odds are if you set some goals though, you will find yourself better off right where you are.

Just keep moving forward...24 IS young even though you don't feel like it (but consider the average life span u got a long way to go!)...3 years is relatively short (even though it doesn't feel like it i know i'm sorry) - most of us feel like we work dead end jobs if we didn't go to college and have a "career" - living back at home can have some huge benefits! you should be able to save some funds and hey is your mom around she can cook dinner that's a great relief sometimes - i hate cooking for my family... Anyway what i'm trying to say is i know alot of people that have been where you are and what has helped them was just taking it day by day and don't look for big things to "look forward to" look for small things! Sometimes the little things in life are the best things :) also if you have friends get your butt out there and have some fun with them! Just remember the most important thing - don't give up!

It's all about your perception of things. New beginnings can be exciting! I'm around the same age as you (about 1/2 a year older), and I have had similar thoughts in the past but everything eventually worked out how it should. Decide what really makes you happy and focus on that. If you keep focusing on the negative aspects of your life, you'll keep getting negative results. Change your outlook on things and your life will also change.
