Help answer this question below.

If you had a job right next to home, and you were offered another job 30 min away for only 1$ pay increase, but chance for promotions. would you change job`s?

That would depend on the full benifits package. If all I would make is $1.00 pay increase...then no.. you will spend more money in fuel then you will bring home on you pay check....

- thats what I feel like, but in the job I have there is no chance for advancement and since I`m only 26 I dont want to be stuck there forever !

- Understood...Will the advancement pay off in the long run or will you still be making about the same money..think about fuel, vehicle maintenance.

1) I suppose you mean $1 per hour?
For 172 hours per month it would be $172 increase per month. If it would be on my income after taxes and insurance, I could use the money. And the promotions too.

2) a very important issue would be how I could get there.
- 30 min with the car or with the train would not be so good. I would take it if there were real chances for promotions, if I had a more interesting job, and later also more money.
- 30 min riding a bicycle or walking would be good for my health. So I would probably accept.
