I'd challenge the law in court and then if that failed I'd organize a coup. And if that failed I'd exile myself to another country. Possibly Austrellia (sp?), Britain, or Israel.

Sure, even if I knew how to drive I could go without for two days a week, I don't have a job, I don't have school to ge to, and even if I did, I'm a fast walker.

Easily. I rarely drive on weekends anyway. Wouldn't take much effort to stop it altogether. I can ride my bike for anything I need on weekends.
-
Easily. I typically take the train into work anyway.

No can do, I drive for a living, and self employed so I can't have anyone else do it for me. 6 days a week is work, 7th day is errands, grocery shopping, paying bills, laundry, cleaning out storage and visiting friends.

You have asked an excellent question. 60% of the population would abide by this law. the other 40% do not abide by anything. The 40% includes drunk drivers, unlicensed drivers, drivers with revoked drivers licenses, criminals, and drivers that cannot read english. The majority of good drivers would really make an attempt to abide by this law. their attempts would soon waiver, once they witnessed the other 40% constantly violate it. Case in point is the HOV lane. it is constantly abused by all drivers. the warning signs are there, but the drivers minds are somewhere else.
