Does anyone know a way to add moisture to the air in one's home without using a humidifier?

    You can also hang laundry to dry in the bathroom. If it isn't fast enough, add a small space heater so you get both additional heat and the humidity. Running the dryer puts all that heat and humidity outside in the winter time.

    My Grandma puts small dishes of water over her registers/heat vents in each room. She said it does the same thing as a humidifier. I never notice the air in her house being dry! Hope this helps!
