Should the Oklahoma Sooners be playing in the 2008 Big 12 Championship game or do you think that the Texas Longhorns or Texas Tech Red Raiders have a better case?

    I think they got it right. Oklahoma played a tougher non-conference schedule. They beat TCU and Cincinatti (Big East Champion). Texas played nobody outside the conference.

    In any other conference, Texas would have won. They won the head-to-head at a neutral field, period. Oklahoma was far more dominant in their wins, but they lost in the head-to-head.

    All will be forgiven if the Longhorns lose and the Sooners win, but if the opposite happens, which is more likely...boy, I would not envy the Big 12 commissioner.
