  • Yes, but not for a few years. Why are you so nervous, its not like they cost that much anymore. I saw a Duel Layer DVD Burner with light scribe technology for only $40. Thats pretty cheap.
  • I know how you feel. You never can tell how long an electronic device is going to last. But there's no need to worry as others have said. Just use your drive the way you always would and when it's days are over, that's it. No amount of worrying or pampering is going to change anything. You bought the drive, you may as well use it.
