  • "Electric Company", "Letter People", and "Sesame Street" (pre-Elmo)
  • Mr. Dress Up He was just so nice and friendly you wanted to be there with him and Casey and Finnegan.
  • Can you help me remember the name of a show - there was an African American man (or perhaps he was Canadian) and a large dog puppet. The dog was white and had long hair and floppy ears. Sometimes, the man would dress up as a Canadian Mountie from the Yukon. I can't remember for the life of me the name of this show! They also got lots of letters, if I recall.
  • Hodge Podge Lodge, just because of the name.
  • Does anybody remember a show on PBS in the early 1980s...I thought it might be called "Jellybean Junction"? The lady that hosts the show always wore overalls. That's all I remember but I can't remember the name.
  • I loved the show ZOOM! it was my favorite because it had kids my age on the show.
  • Mine is Zoom. I remember the kids doing this funky swinging thing with their arms and of course, ubbie dubbie? the language the Zoom kids spoke on the show. There was another show, I think it was from the 70's, set in a town, everyone spoke spanish and english and there was a guy dressed in a lion costume. The only other thing I can remember was a ferris wheel in the opening credits.
  • This is a little later (late '80's-early '90's), but I loved Ghostwriter. Word!
  • Does anyone remember a mysterious PBS show about some kids in a dark warehouse-like room that had a robot typewriter and screen (or something like that) and they would get visited by weird characters. I recall a guy in a turban (perhaps a genie) in one episode. It was such an unusual show and I was like 7 or 8 that the images just got stuck in my head all these years.
  • 3-2-1 Contact

  • What was the show that was set in a train station? I was thinking, Imagination Station, but I am pretty sure that is wrong. It was around the same time as Reading Rainbow, etc. Please help me out!!! There was a jukebox that played music...ummm...I am also remembering pictures on the wall that became animated, but I may be confusing it with Mr. Roger's Neighborhood.
