Probably thousands but no matter what the BB Storm automatically deletes them after a few day (30 i believe) I know this as i have tried to make it so that my BB Storm would record all my messages so that i could see how many it would hold (great minds think alike ;)) Alas i got to 1300+ and it was still going strong. i dont think you have anything to worry about for filling up your storm. to see how many texts you have go to options,status, hit the menu button and hit database sizes scroll down and you will see SMS Messages. (at the moment mines at 423 messages or 156.8 Kilobytes.
