How do Obama supporters feel about the (deceptively named) "Patriot Act"?? If they hate Bush so much, why do they support someone who supports the same things Bush did?

I don't care for the Patriot Act and I don't like the way Bush ran his administration, but I like Obama. I don't like everything he does, but I think he was by far the best choice this past election. - I don't think anyone who supports Obama likes everything he has ever done, and he will not administer the executive branch perfectly, but I think he will do well.

Even if you do not like someone, you can still agree with some of their viewpoints. I was not a fan of Bush, but I cannot say that I disagreed with everything he did.

Big difference, my friend. Bush created it, Obama didn't. As for supporting it, well, maybe he'll be able to turn things around and put a leash on the fear manipulation and all the Patriot Acts such government manipulation tactics bring with it

Against Patriot Act, but for Obama. You hardly ever get everything the way you want it with any President. You have to weigh out the pros and cons. I went on Obama.com and can't find where he's for it, but I'll take you word for it that he is.
