  • The next generation and every generation after our generation will learn and adapt to doing things the way things are going to be done. I'm here for a relatively short period of time. I DO my very best to recycle the things I can recycle: Paper and cardboard. Plastic bags Different colored glass: clear, brown and green. I even go as far as recycling the printers' empty ink cartridges. AND I take the styrofoam "peanuts" merchandise is packed in and shipped in to a business which recycles those things. It's a 33 mile round trip, but I think its worth it. As far as metal cans and the plastic which food is packed in, in my area there isn't any igloo, bin or container for those materials.   • yes ~ all the time. i have been an environmentalist all my adult life. i worked at a socially responsible firm for many years. one of their primary objectives was to bring about positive environmental change. i am always thinking about the environmental impact of my daily activities ~ what i consume, what i throw away or recycle, how i travel ~ and i conscientiously try to leave as small of a environmental footprint as possible. i want to be part of the solution, not part of the problem. here are some words to live by...
