There are whitewalls (or used to be). The tires were still black but theoutside side panels were white..pretty classy looking in the good old days. :)

Not for sale to the general public as far as I know. They do have tires that emit colored smoke and some of them are even scented.

Single color vehicle tires of fully colored composition

Abstract:
The invention is a process of manufacture, namely an automobile tire that is made of a colored composition that is of a single, inherent non-black color. The rubber composition of the tire is thus enhanced by the use of a coloring agent such as a pigment or dye that will yield a desired color upon completion of the tire manufacturing process. Such dye or pigment may be enhanced by the use of reflective, luminescent or photochromic agents that will enhance certain effects and appearances of the tire including: ease of visibility, other safety concerns including wear and puncture identification, and aesthetic appearance.

- I did to but all I found for the whole tire being colored was for motorcycle. I remember now that big green tire on my bike with the baskets on the back sides and front packed with newspapers in the late 50's. It was the bomb.

- You had a paper route? I think it's a shame that adults took over delivering the paper. It was a great way for kids to make some money. I had a route that was so big that when I quit the made a rule that no kid could have a route more than 1/3 the size that mine was. That was the Oakland Tribune. My bike was a green "Hiawatha." I think it was made by Schwinn but I can't remember for sure.

- The worst was the collections though. It's amazing how many times so guy would try to screw me out of a couple of bucks. We actually had to take one guy to court. You know, I had forgotten about that until this very moment. That was 60 years ago. Ha Ha. Thanks for the memory. I remember my dad was ready to kick that guys ass.

For many years there were white sidewalls. A couple of years ago, I accidentally got a set of NASCAR tires that had yellow lettering (the tire place punched in the wrong number). I hated those tires.

I would imagine that no matter what color they made, it would clash with a lot of paint jobs and would therefore not be univerally acceptable. They would get stuck with a lot of leftover tires. They stick with what will match every car.

They used to produce white wall tires. The original ones had about a 3 inch span of white. Then the went to the 1 inch strip. I believe that there were or are some tires in different colors but am not positive.

I have seen white and blue ones.
I don't know if they were manufactured that way or painted so by the owners.
Whatever the case they looked nice and cute.
I never thought about it until I saw your question.
