Yes. My name is Linda and I have had a NDE. It was written about in both Women's Day and Guide Post.

Hi Jody! I'm in Texas, USA.
1. I write poetry, short stories, magazine articles, plays, newsletters, letters to the editor, books, and journals
2. I have been published in all except books and journals, but I'm working on them.
3. My fields of writing are music, mythology, family and regional history, volunteerism, and poetry.
4. Was teaching school, but decided to try other careers. Am currently at home writing, doing visual art, and playing the piano for events).

Yes. You know the easiest part of being a writer is sitting down and authoring something. The hardest part of being a writer is marketing your work. It takes more time and energy than does writing.

then check into eZines. go ahead, google, ezines.

- have fun and don't let it get you down when it doesn't pay off right away. be persistent. look me up and email me. I might start a new project some time in future AND I still have lots of contacts who ePublish.
  Also, whatever your fave mags are, ask for their submission guidelines. If you like to read it, chances are you can write in the same vein.
  And one other thing; write to your local papers expressing your opinion editiorially. If they publish it, its a shot in the arm. If they don't at least you start getting some experience at improv (if you know what I mean).
  And read - and research.

- what country are you in? What do you write about? (field of expertise)
  How much publication have you appreciated?
  
  I once had a teacher in a workshop who told me that newspapers love writers as we tend to do op/ed pieces and send to newspapers, who then publish them (with no compensation to author). Newspapers love writers - as long as they can pub their work for free.
  LOL
  I'd like to see what you write if you want to do exchange like that.
  I am not publishing anything myself (managing) right now. I am doing a regular column for a paper as well as editor of some local HOA newsletters (keeps my skills sharp).
