You'll need about 300 - 500 unique visitors a day from organic sources to be able to make >1 dollar if you are a newbie to the adsense game.

I'd suggest trying something else. It's very easy for anyone using Firefox for example and the AdBlock plugin to block your advertisements and prevent them from being seen.

Maybe try some kind of affiliate marketing?
