I personally dislike full beards. My boyfriend has a goatee and that's about as much facial hair as I've thought looked good on a guy.
That being said, you don't have to impress me since I'm taken so do what you like!

its a matter of personal preference just like the age old questions girls ask 'do guys prefer skinny or curvy girls? brunettes or blondes? blah blah blah' personally i like beards and facial hair in general on guys for some reason...

Last August I quit trimming my beard. I was a real hit at a couple of Christmas parties last December.
Sorry I don't have a shot of myself with the full beard to post.
But my normal look is trimmed to about an inch or two.

I'm not a fan of beards. They are more unhygienic as food, dead skin etc can get caught in it and that along with the roughness against your face is too horrible to kiss and enjoy. I don't mind trimmed so much, but I really don't find full beards attractive either.

I am so in the minority here. I love beards on men. I was so disappointed when Hubby had to shave his beard of 34 years, to keep the new owners of his company happy. Let me hasten to add, they made it worth his while.
My son recently shaved his off for the same reason. In today's economy it's all about keeping your employer happy, isn't it?

I love facial hair on guys! my last boyfriend had a long full beard, and my current boyfriend has a goatee. as long as you keep it trimmed and neat and clean, you should keep it!
and don't keep it or get rid of it just to get girls. make your decision based on what you prefer, and either way, there's a girl out there that will like what you choose =)

SPEAKING AS A GUY WITH A BEARD.....
The only time I shaved it for a woman was after she offered to trim it and I allowed her. I have to believe the mangled mess was quite intentional.
If you want to appeal to "women" all women everywhere the majority of women you'd better shave. Unless you are going to some culture where a full beard is normal and/or required.
If your aims are somewhat higher than getting laid as often as possible with as many different women as possible - do whatever YOU want with the beard. That was you have a better chance of finding that woman who really likes you as you are.
