I heard that a new season of Buffy the Vampier Slayer was coming out in comic book form. I was just wondering if that was true and if any one knows when?

At this point, I believe fifteen or sixteen issues are out. Check out a local comic book shop or dark horse comics online to order; if you want the series to continue, make sure to support it by buying it! (Everything I've heard about the series is very positive; I'm not a Buffy fan, so I can't really weigh in on the issue.)

Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Season Eight
The series serves as a canonical continuation of the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and follows the events of that show's final televised season.

Yes, the creator of the series, Joss Whedon, says he'll do an 8th season for the comic books though the TV series only had seven seasons:

That interview is from December, 2006. The comic books will start coming out in March, 2007 and will come out for about two years.

- You're very welcome, ShyGal. I liked "Buffy" too, and was sad when it ended (and I really didn't like the ending! The Key should have died (Buffy's sister), not Spike!) The extra season in the comic books sounds like a good idea to me. :)
