  • Many years ago we had a bout with one type of snuffles, Pasteurella multocida. We had about 35 rabbits at the time and only 3 got it, all three were near each other. We think that two of the rabbits got it from the one new rabbit. So after that we really guarantied any rabbit coming into the rabbitry. We did the antibiotic thing and managed to save the w rabbits but we got rid of the new rabbit as I didn't want that kind of carrier around. Stress sometimes makes it worse and as they were breeding rabbits we didn't want that to worry about with so many rabbits.
