I am taking a poll. Who thinks that Painful Ginsu should stay on AB? And why do you think that?

I think that he should stay on AB, because he is a wise, thoughtful, respectful contributor who helps many everyday.

I think there is no reason to have him/her booted. he/she must help a lot of people out. he/she is rated pretty high EDIT***I didn't realize that this person wasn't getting booted, but just leaving AB. The answer still stays the same. He should definitely stay.

I would be pleased for him to stay, as long as it is in his best interest and does not compromise his well-being.

I think he should stay. I understand there may be some health related issue that would cause him to leave which of course could probably not be helped but I also read that he is feeling somewhat disenchanted. I would hate to see him go because I think he gives very thoughtful answers.

I want him to stay. He is a very articulate, intelligent person. He has an open mind, and a sense of humor. This site would not be the same without him :(

I think he should be allowed to make up his own mind. He is sick and tired of being sick and tired, only he is not a 16 year old like BAM. And he appreciates you all. And he will remember you all fondly, even the newly met. I am already getting blasted in the Blog, please don't continue it here. Joel will have to erase everything or get out the dreaded RED STAMP for this QUESTION. And that would be too bad. He would maybe even get some real sh**t from a few people if he did that. lol You are right Les, it is a game. And I love you all. But I will be leaving. I'd like him to stay. I enjoy reading his answers. He's intelligent, honest, fair and unbiased and has obviously had a lot of experience in life which shows through in his answers, and it would seem a shame to see him go as I value his opinions.

Ok..I don't really care one way or another. If he stayed, then he'd better apologize for the dirty, abusing crap he wrote about me in several areas of the site. He's gone, so what? He left of his own will, he knew he was getting caught out on a number of things and played almost all of you pretty well. I've never seen an angler reel in a fish so well. It's called social engineering. I'm surprised some of the AB'ers that are computer security pros didn't catch on.

I think he should do what he feels he needs to, but to his question of what he could do with his free time, is create a site of his own, that does not tolerate, whatever made him decide to leave. Maybe a site, where if you are downrated, the person has to comment on why, or who did it? Legal sites are good, because with your knowledge, you can help someone who has no money for a lawyer, but needs advice. I just corrected the spelling of advice, sheesh, no s for that sentence lol!

Maybe PG wouldn't have left if we had the option to "report this user". I don't understand people who get a kick out of verbally abusing others to the point that they want to leave. I wish PG was still around because I really enjoyed his insights and wit. I hope he comes back someday but until then I shall just have wish him a better life.

This was in the Shuffle questions. I didn't like the new questions. This is sort of outdated now, but I see some have replied recently. I read alot of this persons replies and they seemed to be a very informed about alot of interesting and unusual topics. They got top scores on many questions. I am not around much, but I think I can recognize good replies from junk or stupid sounding replies. I wish the people here who enjoy giving stupid replies and asking the not very interesting questions were replaced by about 10-15 people like this guy who left. And from the points this question got, several others agree with me.

I have found many of Painful Ginsu's answers to be helpful, so if Painful Ginsu wants to stay then I see no reason not to.

I personally think he is back. There is a new user that showed up a couple days after his last post that sounds a lot like him and has other similarities. Plus, ginsu still checks his account, if you look, it tells you he's logged on today.

I personally don't give a crap if you stay or not Pg / Anonymous. This is a little pathetic don't you think, switching identities and then commenting about yourself? Is it always just about YOU...and no one else? Most, if not all of these people, don't know it's really you asking this question PG. That's a little conniving and deceptive. I imagine your "likability" quotient will go down should the word get out. Oh and I find it really hilarious that after all your big speeches about leaving the site "forever" and how sad it is to go, you're still here. Active as recently as yesterday and logged in quite a few times since your "departure". Why not own up to the fact that you made a fool out of yourself, personally attacked a few people with slurs and come clean. Pathetic. Edit: Hey...what do ya know, my apologies for double answering.
