Which is better: iphone 3G or new itouch?

The touch is definitely better because the iPhone is cheap but has an expensive plan whereas the touch is a one-time payment.

I don't know what the itouch is unless you are referring to the iPod Touch. If that is the case, then I would say that it depends on what you want out of the device. If all you want is a really cool portable audio/video player, picture viewer, internet client, etc., then get the iPod Touch. However, if you want all of that plus a mobile phone, then get the iPhone.

it will be cheap if your have a 02 sim card you will get monthly plan with all taxes and add ons for £30-£60 per week for the frist your only in UK but i dont know about USA

Iphone 3G is better. it has cool apps and it makes searching and calling people really fun!

its all about opinion. personally, i like the, well, i can't really make a good decision because i have never used an iphone. though the ipod touch is probably a little better just because its jut like the ipod touch except it is a phone, too. but, they have different apps. the ipod touch has one of my favorite games, sheep launcher, but the way its played i would guess it cannot be played on the iphone. any iphone app can probably be played on the ipod touch quite well. i have no idea if this also goes for the iphone, but i know for a fact that if you pay for internet service, or live with someone who pays for it, you can get on youtube. and you don't even have to buy that app after buying the ipod. it comes already on the ipod. so it really all depends on what you want from it.

Doi, Iphone because, it can call and play music, but there is an iphone 3gs now, thats way beter, it has video and a coumpass, it can also call and it has voice controll.

ill tell ya what iphones and itouches both suck. blackberrys are iphone killers, waaaay better. not to mention at&t has wretched service coverage. and i would take the crappiest mp3 player out there over an ipod anyday. my ipod video gives me nothing but trouble and itunes is quite possibly the worst software ever invented. its horrible!!!

i like the itouch better. like all of my friends have them and i've went on it before and it's awesome. you can even surf the net on it. WAY BETTER. iphone is not really much money but the plan is WAY too much

Iphone 3G is double times beter than itouch because you can call with it and do all what the i pod touch does

well if you are interested in a phone you need the iphone because the iphone has the same features that the itouch has except the phone capabilities. however is you already have a phone and you are looking for a music player you need the itouch

The iPhone does a little more than the iPod Touch (in that it has a camera, phone, and always internet), but the iPod Touch can have an overall larger storage capacity.

Take the plan away on the 3G, if you were to cancel your contract, and you'd just have yourself a nifty iPod Touch with a camera. 'Bout $30 cheaper, in fact.

I have a touch and it works just fine at my place, but if you don't have a network connection or you are outside of your house it might not work well.

The iphone has the camera and video camera abilities that the itouch does not have. You can use an iphone as an itouch without a contract. I say Iphone due to having more options.
