I have been on depo provera for about 12 years. My breasts are always tender right before my injections but never otherwise. My last injection was a month ago but my breasts are tender and very swollen and I am worried. Could I be pregnant?

I have heard a lot of people becoming pregnant off of Depo so if I was you I would find another birth control method, but that is just me. Now your beasts could be tender for a number of reasons: caffeine intake, stress, hormone levels fluctuating, and so on and so forth. If you haven't had your period in six weeks from your last cycle I would definitely take a test. First Response is the best and can detect the pregnancy hormone a lot sooner than some other brands. Until that time try not to stress over it, in doing so you could delay your period even more, and that is the last thing that you want.
