The devil I know. You never know what the stranger may bring with him
Well, trust to do what, or in what capacity? If I know a person to be a devil, I'd trust them to be a devil. If we're talking entrusting someone with something valuable of mine, I'd turn to the stranger because at least there's a chance they'd be helpful, unlike the devil. But I wouldn't "trust" that stranger--I'd just rather turn to them for help than to someone I know won't help me. I don't think it's really possible to "trust" a stranger.
I would not trust either.
I don't believe in the Devil, and only a fool would trust a stranger.
The stranger. No need to be burned twice.
I'd trust the stranger
Neither.
I prefer to trust those that I know are worthy of trust.
Really trust? None. How can you "really" trust anyone. I don't!
The devil I know because I can second guess him.
The devil I know :)
(Heb 13:2) Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
I'll trust the stranger.
