  • The purpose is unconditional validation. IMO: When you "love" someone, you give credit and weight to their opinions of yourself. So basically the purpose of "love" is to allow you to be secure in loving yourself, no matter how crazy you might just be. It seems a little narcissistic; if you ask me, nobody really "love's" another person, they love what they think another person love's about themself.
  • To remind us that we are only human
  • Nothing.
  • To know what contrast means- love vs hate vs indifferent? Light vs darkness vs dusk? Live vs death vs just existing? Last but not least..Joy vs sorrow vs thankfulness? I would say if I am capable of loving someone - out of billions and getting loved back - I'm thankful..as to be.
  • Pure love is purpose less! Otherwise it's just like a business deal!
  • Love provides a direction and a focus that often does not exist in its absence. Love brings a clarity and sharpness to existence that makes it possible to appreciate parts of life that you might not have even known existed without it. My love for my friends and family makes me a better man than I could be without it.
  • to make it as simple as i can, love to me is spending the rest of your life with a man/women who you truly care about.
