If the person is court ordered to pay support and quit their job to avoid paying they then begin to aquire an arrearage of payment and can be taken to court for that. :)
I don 't believe so. The point of spousal support is that the party receiving it did not work for the most part of the marriage. This is strictly to give them time to get on their feet. The longer they were dependent, the longer they will receive it. So, if they were the bread winner, they cannot turn around and do this... If I am not mistaken.
You can sue for anything. It's whether or not the judge will grant it.

You're reading IF you get divorced and have a court order for spousal support, can the person paying quit his job and sue the other person for spousal support?
