Help answer this question below.

Why arent there tougher restrictions on people using proxies? i have learned on a forum, someone impersonated me and an old acct using a proxy to hide his IP. uncool. proxy sites should be shutdown IMHO.

    any way even if you banned proxy's via a dictatorship Google china), then only people willing to break the law will have access to proxy's/be the proxy thus making the stuff that happens via proxy's gets much worse. trust me they can be used for MUCH more milutious things than impersonating some one on a forum.

    on a personal note I almost with out exception think that their should be more freedom rather than less for the reason stated previously that the more good people doing some thing that can be used for a bad purpose the better over all outcome you have IMAO

    on a side not most proxy's have a lot of restrictions on them, that if they are informed of being broken the individual who dose so can be prosecuted and the proxy usual monitors the out going content so that impersonating some one is about the worst thing that someone using a proxy can do

    You know the internet can't simply get "restrictions." If they can't put up that site in Arkansas it'll be moved anywhere else in the world. We must be extremely careful what information we give out on the internet and be sure we've got adequate password strengths. Sucks sometimes, but thus that's just how it is.
