I've never entered. It's the same as gambling, and I don't believe in getting something for nothing.

I enter sweepstakes all the time and I frequently win. Sweepstakes are not the same as lotteries. First off, it should never cost money to enter a sweepstakes or claim a prize. Sponsors run sweepstakes because they want to promote their products and services. A sweepstakes is a low cost way for a sponsor to generate a lot of attention for their product. I like to enter sweepstakes at SweepsAdvantage.com because they gather lots of them in one place. You CAN get something for nothing. There are some great prizes out there and you can win them if you keep trying. All it costs is time.

I won 10,000 on a scratch ticket. I paid out $3500 in taxes,state and gov together on that winning. Would I get some of that cash back?
