  • I believe your heart changes size, as a response to increased exercises. As your heart is required to receive and send more bloody more intensively, it's walls get stronger, because the heart is muscle, and grows and responds in much the same way as other muscles. If your heart is bigger and stronger, it's capable of delivery more blood around the body faster, as the need for oxygen increases.
