when you get a tattoo the pain you feel when getting it done makes our brain release endorphins this makes feel all happy, chocolate has the same effect, thats why its so adictive. same with thrill seekers like racing drivers, base jumpers and so on, the adreneline rush and the release of endorphins is very adictive.

I only ever intended to get one, but found they weren't as painful as everyone makes out.

I really like having a personal piece of body art.

I now have four and want one more.

Who knows if I will want any more after that, but I don't want to end up covered in body art.

Getting Tattoos can mean different things for different people. However, the common thread is the fact that they do become addictive. Partially because of the endorphin release that one experiences. However, I believe they are also addictive because a person can tell a story about who they are or what they represent without ever having to say a word. Of course, body art takes on many forms and tattoos are just one form. I love looking at people who have them and often ask to look at them close up. Becaue of my unique interest in tattoos and the fact that I love body art in the form of tattooing, I often get to see tattoos on parts of the body that many never see. It is amazing to witness the great work of so many artists. I currently have three and getting a fourth next week. I know I'll get more and already planning on my next few.

Tattoos are like sex. After your first time, you want more but bigger and better!!!
