  • im not sure, but i think you're drinking a little too much.. drink water instead..
  • It's certainly not good for you but I should not preach. I drink 8-10 diet sodas per day. I prefer DDP and Diet Pepsi, but I drink Diet Coke as well.
  • When I drink alot of pop with NutraSweet/aspertame in it, it seems to increase my appetite and make me feel cold. I'm not sure why. I don't know that this is unheathy, but I feel that diet drinks made with Splenda/sucralose don't make me feel hungry or cold like the aspertame drinks do.
  • Ever hear of moderation? Seriously, too much soda cannot be good for a persons teeth, let alone the body.
  • Only if you have a problem with your teeth/bones. The phosphorus in cola drinks leeches calcium from your bones.
  • Very much so. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aspartame_controversy
  • yep, that is bad. I drink a pot of coffee a day, and that is bad too...........join me: one for you: and one for me.
  • Yes. You should replace those with something more akin to water. The caffeine and aspartame are both bad for you.
  • 4-6 what a day? Diet drinks contain Aspartame. Too much of this can cause depression and other mental dissorders. Don't drink a lot of it. http://www.mercola.com/article/aspartame/dangers.htm
  • The acid is bad for you teeth and the artificial sweeteners are dubious.
  • "Take the folks at Coca-Cola. For many years, they were content to sit back and make the same old carbonated beverage. It was a good beverage, no question about it; generations of people had grown up drinking it and doing the experiment in sixth grade where you put a nail into a glass of Coke and after a couple of days the nail dissolves and the teacher says: "Imagine what it does to your TEETH!" So Coca-Cola was solidly entrenched in the market, and the management saw no need to improve ..." -- Dave Barry It's sugar water. It's carbolic acid, carbon dioxide, and caffeine. It's just about the worst thing you can put in your body.
  • Apart from everything else people have mentioned, especially the aspartame issues, almost all sodas do give you gas too, which may not bother you, but it will certainly bother those around you. :-)
  • Yes, the artificial sweeteners are bad for you. The carbonation can interfere with digestion and it also ruins the enamel of your teeth so say dentists. Carbonated anything, especially sweetened either real or fake is just not good for you.
  • yes very much, especially that amount per day. Do a search on the internet for what it does inside your body. It will surprise you.
  • Drink about the same amount in water every day and you'll be fine.
