You have to get specific, call your local Concrete supplier, you'll need to know the mix design, and the weigh master will provide how much a yard wieghs. There are several components to concrete, it's a science and everything is weighed and certified by a plant inspector prior to shipping. There are a few factors to look out for, Rock size, Sack content... meaning how many sacks of concrete per yard = it's compressive strength at 28 days. The other answer about 6,000+ lbs, and meters and all that. Listen if you want to, but who measures in Meters? Foreiigners do. Smith concrete? Portland Concrete Cement is the national standard. PCC = USA = CYD. That's all.
