  • Lambrini
  • Yellowtail Shiraz or Cabernet Shiraz, and also The Little Penguin.

  • My Fave red wine under $10 is Friday Monkey Merlot from Australia. I was a faithful fan of Rbrt Mndvi but now all I drink is Friday Monkey Merlot. I really enjoy it. Its got the wow factor.
  • Riuniti I dont like it but its my moms favorite...she only drinks it on special occasions though...
  • "Two Buck Chuck" from Trader Joe's is actually quite yummy! It's actually Charles Shaw wine and has several varieties. If you have a Trader Joe's near you (first off, you're a lucky duck, I miss TJ's!), check it out, it's not bad for something so inexpensive! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Shaw_wine
  • Most Concho y Toro wines are well rated and around 10 - 14 USD.
  • Any Cameron Hughes red wine $9-14. They are available at Costco in CA & I think IL & FL & online. He is a negociant who buys excess juice from wineries & blends them. By far the best reds for teh price I have ever had.
  • My favorite red wine is Baby Duck...I believe they used to use it as wine for communion in the churches in my area. It's a bit sweeter than most red wines, but it was my wine of choice when I was on the prowell. Black Tower's pretty good too, though.
  • My father in law's home made...it's Italian in style and we get it for free...it's lovely.
  • Rosenblum Zinfandel Cuvee is around $10 a bottle. It's a best buy. Rosenblum specializes in vineyard specific Zinfandel and is known as one of the premier Zinfandel producers. Most of their Zin goes for well more than $10 a bottle. This is a great everyday Zin.
