Help answer this question below.

How much water shoould a pregnant lady drink per day ?
i know a normal person should drink 8 glasses of water a day. i am not pregnant though just got doubt?

    I was pregnant not too long ago and I don't know how much water I drank but the best advice My doctor ever gave me about being pregnant was to Drink when thirsty (Which happened to be all the time), Eat when hungry and rest when tired.

    I Think the human body is a pro at telling us what and when we need things, if only we would just listen.

    The 8 glasses a day thing has also been debunked, 8 glasses is suitable for somebody who is active, but not for everybody.

    It would be easy to give an opinion but when it comes to your health and the health of your baby, do what your OB suggests you do -- so many things differ from one pregnancy to another. What might be good for one person might not be good for another. During your first few visits (once you do get pregnant) your doctor will tell you things to avoid and things that are ok. Please don't listen to friends -- there are a million 'old wives tales' out there!
