    No. The Buddha himself used the phrase 'Ehipassiko,' which translates as 'come and see.' Since Buddhism is not a belief system and is concerned with seeing and experiencing things as they are, each invidual has to come to it for him or herself. The need to Proselytise or convert others is seen in Buddhism as essentially stemming from ignorance and insecurity.
