Have you ever used an internet dating site? And if so, what is your opinion on it? Do you think it's possible to meet someone you might actually want to be with?
i never used it in my life , but i saw ppl who did .
try it if u like , and its also better to contact the person your gonna meet , and its also better to meet in a public place where u can see ppl , and take some one with u and let them sit away and keep an eye on u and the person your with .
if u wanna find the person u wanna be with then your gonna have to date alot , know more ppl , then u might end up finding some one u reallly like and who share same interest with u .
There would always be a possibility. However, I think the probability would be marginal. I think dating sights leave little for conversation on a date. The other already knows what you do,how much you make, your hobbies etc..
I will just say I have met alot of great guys althoug in most cases our personalities didnt click we still remain friend, except for one guy. When you meet a person at the bar you barely know them, this gives you a chance of getting to know them before you meet them, weed out the riff raff
I have never tried it but my mom and step dad met through it and have been together for 9 happy years, i also i know another couple who tried it and have been together for 6 years.
My friend has tried it and twice she has been disappointed.
I guess its chance, some people work with each other, others don't.
My mom signed me up for a few internet dating sights (she thinks I need to date!!!) And The only people that have contacted me are sort of weird!!! I dont like the Idea!!! My aunt met her man over the internet!!!
I went on a local site..........for 3 days..... the first person I talked to via email, I discovered was a complete phony. Kinda scared me actually. I pulled everything off immediately.
Now I am on eharmony and it is nice. The only people who can see your profile are those who they match you with. Only been on a week or so, so far so good.
I've never used an actual internet dating site no. My boyfriend and I did meet online though, and got to "know" each other quite well before actually meeting.
We got to learn about each others personalities without the physical demands of a regular relationship, and we just "clicked". When we met in person for the first time, we "clicked" even harder.
It's been about 2 years now, we live together, and I have never been happier.
I found a lovely relationship that lasted about 2 years! (ended some years ago). But I also had mostly negative experiences and would not even go there now.
