If you had the chance to participate on a space mission, or fly in a space shuttle..would you?

    Oh no dear! I am a bit too old for that. I have lived 72 years with my feet planted on the earth and I am happy with that. I'll let you youngsters enjoy the mysteries of space.

    It would really depend on who was running the mission, some groups have a rather poor safety record (NASA...), and in such cases it is very unlikely I would sign up for the mission unless they could do some work to prove it was actually safe (which I doubt, at least for the time being).

    Other groups, like (I think) a Japanese group and the Russian government, have far superior safety records and with them I would most likely be willing to participate if it was offered to me (hehe, though why they'd need an artist on their missions, I don't know).

    Absolutely. I am in complete awe of pioneers of the new age, in order for humanity to live on we need to expand. To be able to experience this first hand would be a humbling experience.
