Well i do not think there is a process to 'quitting' a religion, just dont go to services, stop praying, etc. And you do have religious freedom, so dont feel pressured into believing something you dont.

It sounds like you've basically already quit. The trick is to convince the people who still think you are a Muslim. I doubt there is a procedure for quitting. That would be unthinkable. You can renounce or you can just ignore it. What would happen if you just stopped doing Muslim stuff?

Nobody is *born* muslim, it is an indoctrination. Just realize Mohammed for who is really was and free yourself from the shackles of this false religion. You will feel much better for it.

Well, firstly, no one is "born" a muslim, a christian, a hindu, or anything else. A baby has no idea about gods or religion. - Also, if you live in western societies, or in Europe, you can probably just leave Islam. If you live in the middle east, you'd better pretend that you still believe in Islam, or you might find yourself without a head.

You can't. As others have already said, the penalty for quitting Islam is death, preferably by stoning, although some apostates have been beheaded or beaten to death.

Pretty sad.Religion is suposed to be a peacefull thing.Yet it causes so much death. I mean really! If the earth was created by a god,wouldn't we all know about the ONE god? Every culture has their own beliefs.Wich is fine.But it shouldn't be to kill for! "my god that I have never seen is better than your god that you have never seen"??? WOW!
