I hate Scrappy's niece and siblings-in-law and also my own brother-in-law for being a drunk and an asshole to my sister.

actually yes. I hate my niece for molesting my son and my brother and sister in law for 1. knowing it was happening for over a year and not doing a thing to stop it 2. to this day, 10 years later, they still back her up and say it didn't happen 3. they were physically and emotionally abusing him while she was screwing him. To some people that may not be a "legitimate" reason to hate someone but to me it is.

even after reading the other answer and hearing about all of the horrible things people have done, I don't believe there is any good reason to hate someone. In my opinion, if you hate them, you allow them to continue to have power over you.

Hate is one of the strongest words in the English language. I have used it occasionally, but that being said, there is a time and a place to use it.
