Intellectual knowledge, or inherent knowledge? I was going to point to my dog over there, chasing his tail, but even dogs are capable of basic knowledge, learned and otherwise. Hmmm. Worms?

If aquisition of knowledge weren't possible as an inbuilt genetic feature of ours we would still be roaming the pristine forests hunting and gathering our food. Not a bad proposition considering the mess that we are finding ourselves in because of all the knowledge and information available just a click away.

Probably extinct. Besides opposable thumbs witch most primates have, the only thing we Homo Sapien Sapiens really have going for us is a big brain that makes language and a voice box that makes a wide variety of sounds to convey it.If it weren't possible to pass our acquired knowledge on from generation to generation our rich culture would not exist and that's what puts us above the fray. We are the only mammal that has risky childbirth. Our early ancestors had to put up with a very high deathrate of both mother and baby. The reason is the big head required for the big brain. Nature would'nt put up with that unless there was a big payoff. Knowledge is what human beings do.

Inherent knowledge stems from our past memories. But when you are full of knowledge you become empty. Buddha called it nothingness or Shunyata. You are too full to make room for more since everything is in you! The spiritualist who are realized are knowledge incarnate and they are empty. In case of the worldly person he has to tap into his memory banks to get the right answer but for the realized he does not do that. The answer happens on its own.

smOOz - i am way too dumb to even comprehend your question. I would have lots more friends if knowledge was impossible. I am not that fart of a smeller.

If we couldn't think? If we couldn't learn from past experience? We probably would have died out long ago! :)

Living a life where god is the most important thing... wait some of us are.

Wut? We would be particles flying around. Cause as far as I know all creatures have some form of knowledge. (e.g. genes or some other form of storing information about behavior)

In total "darkness".

I think we would be in the exact same place, progress happens but evolution can seldom keep up with it
