You answered your own question. They've got different output shafts The one with the bolt on yoke is the most desirable and stronger unit
yh but u will have 2 make a copel of changes
I have a 1998 gmc jimmy and it has 3 montior that will not set. 1. catalyst mon. 2. evap and 3. EGR

You're reading Will a 1989 Chevy TH400 2500 transmission from a 1 ton 2500 fit into a 1989 Chevy dually? Both have the TH400 but the 2500 is a slip yoke and the dually is a bolt on yoke.
