Thinking about the longevity on both sides of my family, I can expect to live to about 80 if I take moderate care of myself. I don't envision dying at any particular age - just old, and preferably not of some horrible disease.

I kinda feel like I'm going to live very long, near 100. (Is that because only the good die young?) Well so far I'm still here.

i will be turning (this year, 2007) 23 years old.. i expect to die young.. at 36 years old.. i dont have much expectations and dreams.. i also dont have any specific vision.. i am fit and healthy.. no disease whatsoever.. no.. am not depressed or anything.. i just want to die young.. so i have around 13 years more to live..

All four of my grandparents made it to 80 so I think I have pretty good genetic odds. I don't eat junk food but I don't exercise. I imagine I could realistically shoot for my 70s or 80s based on today's standards. I think a lot depends on the advances in medicine in the next 40 to 50 years, though. Life expectancies will surely increase. Quite frankly, I don't envision dying or worry about when. There's no point. I could die in a freak stapling accident tomorrow or in a brawl over shuffleboard when I'm 97.

The oldest blood relative I know of only made it to 64 before dying of natural causes (heart-related). I have had three other relatives die relatively young, all of natural causes. (If a person weighs 400+ pounds and has a fatal heart attack at 45, that's natural, right?) Therefore, I seriously doubt I'll see 70.
-
I expect to die by natural causes which means old age. When I feel the times coming I'll let you guys know if the answerbag is still here some 70 years later.
-
All the men in my family live to be about 80 years old. Therefore, I expect to reach 80. Anything more than that is just a bonus.
-
I am always thinking of this one I will say between 26-100? Is that ok with you?

I saw a clairvoyant years ago who told me I would die when I was in my mid 70's....so i guess I have at least another 40ish years left...thats okay. Funny thing is everything he told me came true....im still waiting for my long lost brother to turn up but knowing my luck he'll turn up when Im on my deathbed :)
-
I'm thinking I'll die when I'm around 75. I'll probably have an aneurysm or something.
-
I do not plan to die. I plan to live.
-
I think I might have 20 years left so that would make me about 76 if it's my time:)
-
I've always thought twenty-seven would be a good age to die. It seems like things just go downhill from there.
-
About 158 years and 3 and a half months. I tend to procrastinate lately I need more time than most.
-
Plan on LIVING up through the point I die. If I get something where they tell me I have a year to live...I'm going to LIVE it....screw expensive treatments for an extra few months or a year. Aside from that, I'm planning on kicking the bucket sometime between 75 and 80. If I happen to live longer, I'm OK financially till I'm about 100....if all things go as planned.

My grandmother and great-grandfather lived to be 99 and 98 respectively and I intend to beat the record.

My father's parents both lived and were functional well into their 80s before suddenly becoming very sick and dying within 1-2 weeks. I kindof like that. No lingering. Living life, having a great time, then poof. My mother's parents must be immortal. My grandfather smokes, has since his 20s, has been on half a pack a day for at least 20 years and he doesn't cough or wheeze or anything. It's baffling. So somewhere between 80 and forever. All right by me.
