Help answer this question below.

Yahoo messenger won't let me sign in, even though my user name and password are correct. What could be the problem?

    Check your keyboard if all the keys are working properly. Type your password in MS word and see if all the characters were typed as it should have been. My keyboard had this problem and I thought my account was hacked.

    Carmella, its very important that you fix your hosts file before you do anything. Your computer might be hacked which means you can be re-directed to fake websites that look authentic and not know it.

    Probably the internet connection. Sometimes my MSN doesn't work because the network is bad. The best solution to that is to wait.

    If it doesn't work for a long time then your account my be deleted or just simply Yahoo Messenger isn't working.

    Try contacting Yahoo.

    I am having the same problem, except I have two accounts one will let me in the other keeps saying invalid ID password. What is causing this? I have checked all my keys in MS word. Is there a telephone number to contact Yahoo? Thanks, Carole

    i'm having the same problem, i always get the msg to check ID or password!!! but i'm sure i'm typing it correctly as copy & past from a file!!! what seems to be the problem???
