  • An intense craving to stop at Starbucks.............
  • Jaysus! Is this generation suicidal or just stupid?
  • Well since there's already a lack of brain cells, I really don't know. I'm going to think some chest pain and coughing from inhaling smoke.
  • Since it isn't suppossed to be smoked, there probably aren't any proven statistics on the effects. Coffee grounds can be an excellent addition to a compost pile. The grounds are relatively rich in nitrogen, providing bacteria the energy they need to turn organic matter into compost. About 2 percent nitrogen by volume, used coffee grounds can be a safe substitute for nitrogen-rich manure in the compost pile. Does that sound like something you really want to smoke?

  • Irritation from smoke inhalation, much like the effects of inhaling the smoke of burnt wood.
  • Coffee contains in relatively high concentrations 3 different MethylXanthines; Caffeine, Theophylline and Theobromine. All 3 of them cause caffeine style stimulation. Through insufflation (snorting if you prefer)the amount of caffeine necessary for effect is significantly lower than when taken orally, it is reasonable to assume that the amount of caffeine necessary for effect when smoked would be even lower than when insufflated (simply by looking at the trends with Most other chemicals) so it is reasonable as well to assume that smoked coffee could provide quicker onset stimulation with less coffee grounds than one would use when making coffee.
