Help answer this question below.

I have a fixed male cat and recently he haas started to spray outside of the litter box which i keep clean the only new thing that has happened is a outdoor stray cat (female) has been coming in the house during cold nights and to eat sometimes. Why?

    He is marking his territory and that may happen when another cat is brought into the picture.

    He is absolutely marking his territory. Cats are exyremely territorial, being that they are solitary (as opposed to pack) animals. Try feeding the stray outside, and leaving her a cardboard box with flannel, old towels, or old wool sweater (you can also add a heating pad set on LOW) for her shelter. (The box should be intact with a 'door' cut into it, and the door should be covered with a fabric "flap" after she's discovered it and begins to use it to keep the heat in.) This should make both cats happier.
